Pick 3 OTP and answer the following questions

(Okay here we go)

1) Spike/Buffy
2) Thor/Loki
3) Sherlock/John




1. What made you ship 3?
I don't actually ship John and Sherlock romantically! XD I read Johnlock only whe ladykikuri    is writing them, but I just love them as friends. And they are actually an OTP to me, maybe not in the sexual romantic way, but they complete each other.

2. Is 2 canon?
IN MY MIND YES. *C* ... Okay, they are brothers. So they'll never be canon, I guess. Big incesty thing (But Hera and Zeus were also brothers and so all the ancient gods) 

3. What is your favorite moment between 1?
The ending of Showtime, Season Seven. All the emotions.

4. If you could put 3 in any scenario, what would it be?
Just solving crimes and blog about it. They're the best in that field.

5. Favorite line said between 1?
Uuuh, so hard. "Every night I save you" or possibly Spike's monologue in Touched.

6. Did everything you want happened between 2? If not, what did you want to see?
NO!!kdjgsdlgjsdgls I want to see them reunited after the fight in the Avengers. I want to see them together again. 

. If you had to pick a favorite, 1, 2, or 3?
I'm not going to choose! I don't have many OTPs, so I'm gonna stick with my favourites.

8. Would a crossover work between the three?
I actually thought about a commedy crossover between Thor and Loki with Sherlock and John. Could be fun to add also Buffy and Spike! XD

9. Recommend a blog dedicated to 2
I don't have a Tumblr so ... but I know that Wants to Believe Tumblr is really beautiful and there is lot of Thunderfrost action.

I can't say I ship Thor & Loki, but I can see why people might. Other than that ITA to the rest! I love Sherlock & John as friends. I tend not to read a lot of fic in that fandom though as everyone else seems to slash them like whoa. There needs to be more Sherlock gen!

Completely agreed. I love Thor and Loki with their complicated relationship as siblings, but incest isn't my kink. Sherlock and John are fantastic, and I love how the writers immediately lampshaded their 'ship, but I respect the characters' canon reactions to every attempt to view them as a romantic couple. It's kinda great that a nuanced same-sex close friendship is on TV; yay writers and actors for doing a great job at portraying bromance.

There are quite a lot of nuanced same-gender (well, two-men) relationships on TV, though. I mean, not that I particularly ship Sherlock/John at all, but it's actually not that unusual to make two dudes' friendship the focus of a TV programme.

I agree that there are lot of nuanced relationships, but I also loved their relationship in the books and I guess it was really original at that time. Also I adore Freeman and Cumberbatch: they really give a new depth to the whole nuanced relationship and the scripts are always amazing.

Funny enough, I also don't have an incest kink, but Loki and Thor are the exception. I think it's because they are gods and there is always this strange balance between them (they rapresents order and caos and I love the symbolism)

I also don't ship them in a romantic way, still I don't see why a romantic OTP should be more important that a friendship OTP. I mean, they are an amazing couple, even if they don't have sex!

Word. Spike & Buffy aside I'm a gen girl at heart. And I grew up reading Doyle's stories; Sherlock's lamshading of the slash issue is funny but at heart? Friendship. Though I stand beside my claim that that fandom is a little scary!

Is it! XDDD I don't know if I'm gen at heart. I really love to ship my OTPs and when I'm convinced that two people are lovely together I become a crazy fangirl. But I don't ship anything that moves. I really need to be convinced, to feel something for the pairing.
(And talking about the books, I kinda think that they are more slashy than the tv series. I mean, if I watch Sherlock, the BBC series, I'm totally on board of *John is hetero and he loves Sherlock very much but in a platonic way*, in the books it feels more nuanced to me ... I don't know, maybe because it's placed in period of repression of homosexuality. I think that a writer couldn't do more than that and so I could be more debatable to me. I mean, it's important to being free to choose and, in the Victorian Era, John wouldn't be free of choosing.)
